Lullaby

When,
All you want to do is have a good cry,
hide under your pillow and weep all with sighs,
tell your story to the stars beneath your sky,
and I'll be there by your side.

Think about all those sunshine we could relate to,
the bright side of everything, the shining drench of rain,
the whispering softening words of a lullaby prayer,
I'll murmur into your tearful beckoning ear.

See a thousand wishes which never come true,
More four clover leaves which brings bad luck more than the truth,
Have your heart weigh a weight lead can only put to place,
I'll bring you light feathers, go! pack your bags of grace.

Hear my murmur
hear my lullaby
hear my prayer
hear my lullaby

Tell your story to the stars beneath your sky,
and I'll be by your side...
