Pour me the sake love.

(Not in a Shinto ceremony . Not in new year’s eve . Definitely not a kagami biraki)

Pour me the sake love,
I need it badly.
I need my throat to burn
Like cinder going through it.
Leaving a trail of heat.
Reminding  me of my misery.
Pour me the sake my love.
Pour me the sake.

I’ve promised you I would not.
But promises shatter.
Like memories did.
Like the present tense did.
Like the Sakuras fell
And we found ourselves alone.
Pour me the sake
Or I won’t live any further.
Pour me the sake love
Pour me the sake.

Pour me the sake
and raise my glass for me.
Just as you did
when I was ailing.
Just as you would do now
When I am reaching the cold blues
of a fading rainbow.
Listen love,
Pour me the Sake.

Battles

Conquest.
I've never won.
leaves me alone and defeated,
beats me why I'm not strong.

Wars at heart.
I've never won.
Leaves me vulnerable for heart ache,
beats me why I'm so fragile.

Love.
I've once won.
Leaves me alone and superior,
beats me why you aren't still here.

The wind blew past this way

The wind blew past this way
aloof, unheeding of me.
I, by myself sat on the subway
letting it swallow up me.

What was I doing on the subway?
You ask me so noncholantly
'searching for you, stupid of me'
I answer gritting my teeth, solemnly.

'Supposedly you did. But why?'
The wind knew not of me.
Supposedly I did and why?? you fool!
Because I'm blind and will be.

Phantasm

I could have not forgotten the way you passed beneath my wings,
I could have sworn you were nothing but the wind;
Calling me in a diminutive voice,
When I was near jeopardy-
A tragedy, you, of all people, could not leave behind.

No.
I'm not talking to you.
have I ever?
I'm talking to myself,
In my isolated dreams.
As I always did;
And do.

Abandoning.
The abyss of nothingness I've always felt.
You'll never hold me,
Touch me.
I'm just a whisper,
A voice of yesterday.
A haze of nothing.

And call me you never can,
It was my call...
And I hung up on you.

The candle wasters

Gamble around the table,
heed less about the mouths to feed,
Make alcohol your father;
Vodka,my last name that would be.

Heads fallen onto the table,
with moon rise each fate meets,
a nicer fate they hope for tomorrow,
never wiser to bet it seems.

families starve in hunger,
the candle wasters doth not care.
they live life for the moment.
Idle.So past repair.

The sonnet yet to write

I can'st write about thee-
in a sonnet with fourteen lines.
The armor which runs
to the end of the valor,
I'm 'fraid will burst the severity
of it's own lines.

I can'st compare thee
to any of the pearls I doth see,
More or so I would
for the pearls I haven't yet seen.
That would be many-
as the fact rests
I haven't seen any.

Mayhaps someday
I will do try for thee,
Aye' indeed
Perchance
I might Succeed.

Word Games

Did you know I've written so much for you,
long restless nights of words?
Did you know that they were named for you,
in my heart if not in words?

How blind can you be, how stupid you are,
these word games are not what it must be.
But still if you want I can play at my best,
and you be the loser you wanna be.

Did you know that I fight a dozen fights of lies,
with my thoughts my words and hopes?
It's like waiting for the petrichor
when it never rained to be so,
So jaded a person can be.

Thousand of words you could utter and then forget
a thin fragile sigh to the sky.
But these words of mine,
they do speak the truth
and lay passive for a time to turn out right.

Maybe I'm fed up, maybe it's enough,
so the word game will come to an end.
And thus my words, I bid you goodbye
let's stop this struggle we've dealt.
